It’s been ten long years since ABBA burst on to the scene, sung by an array of Hollywood stars with varying success.
None shone brighter than Meryl Streep as the central character Donna.
Now, though, fans are worried that Donna may be dead. All will be revealed when the movie hits cinemas today.
In the last ten years another major change has taken place with most major movie incuding after credit scenes. Does the sequel have one and who is in it?
WARNING – SPOILERS
The movie has one single end credit scene. This is not to be confused with the riotous and joyous musical number that plays out as the film is ending.
Taking its cue from the first movie, this involves almost every character, past and present, who has featured in the emotional journey of Donna and her friends and family.
But there is another treat hidden right at the very end.
Audiences who see the movie will already know Donna’s fate and whether she is alive or not.
The final clip features one of the entertaining new characters. British comedian Omid Djalili plays a quirky official who (for unknown reasons) is checking passports as everyone takes the ferry. In his interactions with Colin Firth’s Harry he reveals that he is also gay.
He has the final moment in the movie as he flirts one last time before breaking into song…
