Community Day results are in for the month of July.

And after a few months of being pegged back by the red and yellow team, the blues of Team Mystic would dominate the Squirtle Community Day event.

Team Mystic would capture the most Pokemon in Europe, South America, Asia and Africa.

The yellows of Team Instinct would once again emerge victorious in North America, while the reds of Team Valor would only manage to score a victory in Oceania.

Interestingly, however, despite emerging victorious in the smallest territory, Team Valor would finish second overall.

Team Instinct and Team Valor will be hoping for a stronger showing during August’s Community Day event.

Niantic recently confirmed that the August Community Day event will focus on Eevee.

The Eevee event will give players the chance to unlock Espeon, Umbreon, Vaporeon, Jolteon and Flareon.

The Community Day event also features triple catch Stardust, as well as 3-hour Lures.

There will also be an exclusive Community Day move to learn, which will be announced closer to the date.

August’s Community Day event will actually take place over two days.

It all kicks off on August 11 at 10am UK time until 1pm BST. This will be followed by another event the following day on August 12.

The news comes as Niantic teases the appearance of Gen 4 Pokemon.

With Pokemon Go celebrating its second anniversary, Niantic has released a new teaser image featuring all of the latest innovations.

The picture references the newly released Alolan Pokemon, Professor Willow can be seen conducting research in the background, while two trainers are shown trading Pokemon and gifts.

“From the first Pokemon you encountered to your first #PokemonGOfriend, we’ve enjoyed watching all of your amazing Pokemon GO journeys unfold for the past two years,” reads a Niantic tweet.

“What are some of your most memorable Pokémon GO experiences? Tell us in the comments!”

But even more exciting is the appearance of Gen 4 starter Pokemon Turtwig, Chimchar and Piplup. The Sinnoh Pokemon first appeared in Pokemon Diamond and Pearl on the Nintendo DS.
